Lady Bugs

Ladybugs, also known as ladybirds or lady beetles, are small, colorful insects belonging to the Coccinellidae family. With their distinctive round shape and bright red or orange bodies adorned with black spots, they are easily recognizable and often considered symbols of good luck. Ladybugs primarily feed on aphids and other small insects, making them beneficial to agriculture by serving as natural pest controllers. They undergo complete metamorphosis, with eggs hatching into larvae that resemble tiny alligators before pupating and emerging as adult ladybugs. These insects are found worldwide, inhabiting a variety of habitats from gardens to forests. In some cultures, they are even regarded as spiritual symbols or indicators of ecological balance.
