Wasps
Wasps are flying insects belonging to the order Hymenoptera, known for their distinctive slender bodies, narrow waists, and typically vibrant colors such as yellow, black, and sometimes red. They are social insects, with colonies consisting of a queen, workers, and drones, though some species are solitary. Wasps are predators and scavengers, feeding on other insects, nectar, and fruit juices. They play essential roles in ecosystems by controlling pest populations and aiding in pollination, contributing to biodiversity. However, they are also known for their defensive behavior and can sting multiple times if provoked, with their stings containing venom that can cause pain, allergic reactions, and, in rare cases, severe health issues.
